THE SPORTSKEY IN FULL VIEW - Please note that only BLACK
sportskeys with blue 'Sportskey' logos are supplied by mail-order. See our
'customised' page for special orders for different designs and colours made for sports events, sports
clubs and company promotions. The blue sportskeys shown below have been used so you can see more clearly
how the device works. |
INSTRUCTION
(1) - RELEASING THE LOCKING PEG AND RATCHET TO LOAD OR CHANGE KEYSThis is very difficult to show clearly on this webpage as the parts
are very small and detailed - but you will soon see what to do when you have one in your hand! |
INSTRUCTION (2) - LOADING THE IMPORTANT ONE OR TWO KEYS YOU NEED TO ALWAYS CARRY |
Here you can see how the important keys are placed on the middle section of
the Sportskey and how the locking peg is pushed through their holes and into the retaining ratchet system.
The peg is pushed a little further so the keys are held firmly so they can not rattle but can still swivel out
to use in locks. Remember, you need change these keys only when you change where you lock away your other
keys - you don't need to take the keys off the Sportskey to use in locks or to re-connect with your other keys - use
the hook! |
INSTRUCTION
(3) - LOCKING AWAY TEMPORARILY LESS-IMPORTANT KEYS HELD BY THE KEYRING |
Here you can see how the keyring is lifted then twisted out of the hook.
To re-connect, simply do the reverse. Your excess, heavy, bulky and noisy keys can now be left safely wherever
you leave them locked away by the important keys kept on the Sportskey. If you have your car key on the Sportskey,
twist off the other keys so they don't bump your knee while driving!
|
INSTRUCTION (4) - CLAMPING THE SPORTSKEY KEYCHAIN ON TO CLOTHING |
Here you can see how if you pinch the end, like a clothes peg, the clip opens
and you can clamp the Sportskey on to your clothing. Wear it where it is comfortable and safe - the idea being
that your keys will no longer rattle and bounce while you run around - this happens best on your waistband.
When you get home or back to your locker or car, simply pinch to unclamp and swivel out the correct key(s) to
operate the lock. Re-connect the Sportskey to the bunch of your other keys held on the keyring and Sportskey acts
as a key-identifying fob - great for dark doorsteps! Remember, you need change these keys only when you change
where you lock away your other keys - you don't need to take the keys off the Sportskey to use in locks or to
re-connect with your other keys - use the hook!
